Fading Memory is a visual assemblage constructed through fragmented hand-painted paper, ink, graphic marks and negative space.

Organized within a precise modular grid, the composition develops through a progressive transition from visual density to near absence. Dark, layered fragments accumulate in the lower section, while moving upward the marks gradually become lighter, more isolated and increasingly incomplete.

Rather than using fragmentation only as a method of reconstruction, Fading Memory employs it as a process of disappearance. The physical structure remains visible even as the information contained within it begins to dissolve.

Through repetition, reduction and empty space, the work reflects on memory as something unstable: not simply present or absent, but continuously altered by what disappears and by the traces that remain.
