RED GRAVITY
OP_0030 — RED GRAVITY
50 × 70 cm | 2026
Red Gravity is a 2026 contemporary painting. Measuring 50 × 70 cm, the work presents a bent human figure emerging against an intense red field.
Moving between abstraction and figuration, the painting explores physical tension, emotional weight and the fragile boundary between resistance and collapse. The body is constructed through layered blacks, greys, muted pinks and flashes of yellow, creating a form that appears simultaneously present and unstable.
The saturated red background intensifies the sense of pressure surrounding the figure, while the fragmented painterly surface prevents the image from becoming a conventional portrait.
In Red Gravity, the body becomes a visual measure of invisible force: a presence shaped not only by what can be seen, but by the weight it appears to carry.
