Signal Lost is a visual assemblage by Milan-based contemporary artist Jonathan Goffredo, combining layered paper, ink, graphic marks and fragmented abstract forms.

Built around a predominantly black and grey composition, the work is interrupted by precise flashes of red that function as visual signals. Circular elements appear, disappear and repeat across the surface, creating the impression of information moving through an unstable system.

The contrast between dense painted fields, intricate graphic textures and isolated fragments generates a continuous tension between connection and disruption. Rather than constructing a linear narrative, Signal Lost explores what remains when a visual message can no longer be completely reconstructed.

Through abstraction, layering and physical fragmentation, the work transforms interruption itself into a form of communication.
