Unread Messages is a visual assemblage by Milan-based contemporary artist Jonathan Goffredo. Through overlapping paper fragments, abstract marks and a restrained palette of black, white and magenta, the work transforms fragmentation into a visual language.

Layered forms conceal and reveal one another, suggesting traces of interrupted conversations and messages that resist complete interpretation. The physical construction of the composition introduces depth, shadow and rhythm, allowing the space between fragments to become part of the work itself.

Positioned between abstraction, paper assemblage and contemporary mixed-media practice, Unread Messages explores communication not through explicit narrative, but through what remains incomplete, obscured or suspended.
