Title sequence · For Bonsaininja, Milan
New sequences, the same street attitude.
For Gangs of Milano, the second season of Blocco 181, I collaborated with Bonsaininja in Milan to expand the previous season’s title sequence with new clips.
The challenge
The new material had to feel part of the original sequence. Matching its street aesthetic meant finding a consistent visual language across filmed footage, 3D elements and illustration.
My contribution
I created new clips integrating tracked 3D elements into live-action footage. I also drew illustrations and tracked them onto filmed shots, bringing another graphic layer into the sequence.
What made this project interesting was working within an existing visual identity and finding room to add something of my own.
My role: new clips, 3D integration, illustration and motion tracking.
Studio: Bonsaininja, Milan.
