Stepping into the spotlight of your favourite star.
Like a Star gave singers the opportunity to perform as the artists they admire. Working with Matì Network, I developed the show’s visual identity and broadcast graphics package, alongside LED visuals for numerous performances.
The challenge
The show’s identity needed to express that central idea: the transformation from contestant to star.
For the performance visuals, the challenge was to evoke the visual world and stage performances of each contestant’s chosen artist, adapting those references to the studio’s LED screens and the needs of each act.
My contribution
I designed the logo and created its animation, the opening and closing title sequences, bumpers and interstitials, as well as lower thirds and numerous on-screen graphics used throughout the programme.
I also created the studio LED visuals for multiple performances, including those featured in this portfolio.
